PINLOCK FITTED AGV PISTA GP-R
Our Italian helmet partner AGV helmets has recently launched a new race helmet, the Pista GP-R. Developed in collaboration with MotoGP rider and legend Valentino Rossi, the Pista GP-R comes packed with new features such as a factory fitted hydration system, improved aerodynamics and a new visor equipped with our top of the line 100% Max Vision Pinlock 120 anti-fog insert lens.
INTEGRATED HYDRATION CHANNEL
The Pista GP-R. comes with an internal hydrational channel, making it one of the first helmets on the market to offer this feature. AGV has worked closely with their riders in MotoGP to develop this system and have it integrated within the helmet. The Internal tube of the hydrational channels and drinking valve are routed in the best way possible within the GP-R, making the helmet more comfortable and user-friendly for riders.
The Pista GP-R features a new ‘Biplano’ rear spoiler that is developed in the wind tunnel. The ‘Biplano’ rear wing maximizes the aerodynamic performance that results in improved stability while riding at higher speeds, especially when it is combined with a racing suit that features a back hump.
The ventilation and internal airflow of the Pista GP-R are optimized to channel airflow in the best way possible, through improved channels and rear extractors, which results in increased cooling within the helmet.
CARBON FIBER SHELL
Made from 100% carbon fiber, the GP-R is very light and also compact. The bottom part of the Pista GP-R shell is designed in such way, where it minimizes the interference to racing leather suits which reduces the risk impact to the riders collarbone during a crash.
CLASS 1 OPTIC VISOR
The Pista GP-R come with a class 1 optic visor, which is a thick 5mm visor that eliminates distortion and also increases the viewpoint of the helmet. All AGV Pista GP-R will be equipped with our 100% Maxvision Pinlock 120 insert lens, which offers a combination of our top of the line anti-fog properties with the maximum edge to edge coverage in the Pista GP-R visor.
